The reason and the trade-off are visible
The model buys information: expected route cost is lower, but first ore is later and operating cost per tonne is slightly higher. After measurement and time costs, linear expected value rises from 540 to 546.14 thousand hypothetical SAR. This is neither net present value nor proven mine savings.

The strong control ties. Information is not always worth buying.
A planner with the same observations and scheduling solver ties Khayar. In the pre-fixed sensitivity grid, six of 54 configurations buy information and 48 do not. These are neither field success rates nor evidence of superiority over commercial software.
